Collection

Of course the real reason to visit the library is our collection. At the Clifton Public Library we have packed a lot into such a small footprint.

Books

Our collection features nearly 8,000 books, with over 3,500 titles for younger readers.

Magazines

We carry over 45 magazines, retaining back issues for all of the current year and the entire previous calendar year.

Reference

We have a small but practical reference section for answers to common reference questions. Included in this reference collection are assorted local history resources that are not readily available from other sources, including histories of Iroquois County as well as centennial and sesquicentennial publications of Clifton.

DVDs

We have grown our DVD Collection to over 1,000 titles from over 80 years of film-making. Many of our titles are unique classics. During a typical month between 100-200 DVDs are requested by other public and school libraries through interlibrary loan.
